In-Person Postpartum Support: $65/hr
Prenatal Planning Session
Ideally, postpartum planning begins prenatally! I suggest clients add 2-4 hours to your package to allow for a prenatal meeting. For this, I come to your home to get familiar with you and your family, do hands-on feeding and newborn care education, prepare postpartum healing items, develop your postpartum support plan, and prepare the home to welcome baby (or babies).
In-Home Postpartum Visits
I book visits in 4-hour blocks. Things that we work on during our in-person postpartum visits include (but aren't limited to):
Lactation support; adjusting baby's latch, working on feeding positions, pumping, syringe and bottle feeding, or other supplementation as you need/wish
Coaching through infant care such as diapering, swaddling, soothing, bathing, babywearing, etc
Education about newborn norms such as sleep and behavior development
Providing child care so you may rest
Preparing nutritious meals, helping ensure all caregivers are nourished
Light housework, pet care, local errands
Coaching you and supporting physical healing after giving birth
Emotional processing & providing an unbiased listening ear
Planning and strategizing how to meet your needs as your experience changes
Connecting you with community resources and care providers
Normalizing the beautiful chaos that is life with a newborn!
Informational Support
My postpartum care package includes unlimited support via email and text, an online client portal filled with video and PDF resources, and connection/referral to community resources.
In-Person Support Rates:
My postpartum support rate is $65/hour, with a 12-hour minimum.
50% of your package fee is due at contract signing as a non-refundable deposit
The remaining 50% of your package fee is due by our first scheduled shift
If you are hiring me prenatally, I suggest we use 2-4 hours of your package for a prenatal planning session
I request that postpartum shifts be booked no later than 24 hours in advance
All hours of your package must be used within 3 months after giving birth
Please inquire about sliding scale income-based rates if you are experiencing financial hardship
